Faye Wood

Faye Wood age 82 of Batesville died Thursday, November 26, 2015 at a Batesville nursing home. She was born May 21, 1933 at Batesville, Arkansas to Alford and Dollie (Milligan) Buie. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Clentis Wood; one daughter, Melissa Faye Wood; two brothers, Hiram Gray Buie and Calvin Buie and one sister, Mamie Stubbs. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Wood Siler and husband Jimmy of Bald Knob and Gaye Clark and husband B.J. of Magness; one sister, Jo Clark of Southside; five grandchildren, Heather Garrett of Jonesboro, Will Qualls of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Tim Qualls of Houston, Texas, Calin Clark and Layton Clark both of Magness; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Richard Nuckolls officiating. There will be no graveside service held. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be B.J. Clark, Jimmy Siler, Will Qualls, Tim Qualls and Layton Clark.
