Charlene Sullivan Cathey

Charlene Sullivan Cathey age 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in Bentonville. She was born at Grange in Sharp County, Arkansas on April 16, 1923 to the late Murphy and Jewel (Mobley) Sullivan. She was the wife of the late George Cathey whom she married on December 24, 1949. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, parents; daughter, Gail Swisher; step-grandson, Daniel S. Belk; one brother, Pat Sullivan and three sisters, Nell Ironside, Louise Halbrook, and Helen Fudge. She is survived by her son, Nathan and wife, Jane Cathey of Washington; son-in-law, Brian Swisher and daughter-in-law, April Swisher; grandsons, Daniel and Michael Swisher; step-grandchildren, Travis and Katie Belk; 15 nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Funeral services will be Friday, January 8, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A second funeral service will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery located east of Cave City. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
