Michael Clyde Pollard age 59 of Cave City died Monday, January 11, 2016 at a Batesville hospital. He was born June 17, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ruben and Lillian Frazier Pollard. He grew up in the Bartlesville and Dewey, Oklahoma area and worked at what was once called Reda-Pump. He was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran and served in Desert Storm in the 1990’s. He then moved to Cave City, Arkansas to reside and work for Unifirst until his death. He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Pollard in May 1979; his brother Eugene Pollard in June of 2000 and his step-father, William Haven in November of 2006. Survivors include two sons, Michael Ruben Pollard of Waco, Texas and Michael Joseph Pollard, a University student in Fayetteville, Arkansas; his mother, Lillian Frazier Pollard Haven of Picayune, Mississippi; one brother, Richard Pollard; three sisters, Marilyn Pollard Norris, Cheryl Pollard Andrews and Debbie Pollard James; an uncle; two aunts ; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cave City Church of Christ with Dean Fugett officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned.
