Lora Mae King Gay age 94 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Arlington, Texas. She was born February 13, 1922 in Sharp County, Arkansas to Russell and Esther King. She worked as an LVN both in Arkansas and Texas. She also worked for Texas Instruments for over 20 years. Lora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and a friend who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Darrel Gay; granddaughter Becky Gay; four brothers, Claude King, Earl King, Raymond King and Coy King and a sister Ruby Goff. Survivors include two sons; Roy D. Gay and wife Melinda of Arlington, Texas and Kenneth Gay and wife Audrey of Olive Branch, Mississippi; one sister, Gracie McCracken of Strawberry; four grandsons, Roy L. Gay and wife Patricia of Burleson, Texas; Ken Gay of Nashville, Tennessee; Edward Gay and wife Laurie of Burleson, Texas and Preston C. Gay and wife Amanda of Mansfield, Texas; four granddaughters, Kathy Gribble and husband James of Burleson, Texas, Felicia Racey and husband Jim of Little Rock, Theresa Adair of Keller, Texas and Darla Gay of Arlington, Texas; sixteen great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount View Cemetery located east of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
