Steve McDougal

Steve McDougal, 60 of Pleasant Plains, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at a Batesville hospital. He was born November 3, 1955 at St. Louis, Missouri to Daniel Joseph and Floe Smith McDougal. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and nephew, John McDougal. Survivors include his mother, Floe McDougal of Pleasant Plains; brother, Joe McDougal of Batesville; sisters, Teresa Cooper of Concord, Jennie Watkins of Edmund, Oklahoma, Judy Sanford of Batesville and Tabitha Lucy of Batesville and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Floral Baptist Church at Floral with John Stoner and Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bob Milligan, Steven Reiman, Chad Strother, Rick McDougal, Michael Hertz and Rick Polston. Honorary pallbearers are Jody McDougal and Anthony Hughes.
