Terry Lynn Thompson, 51 of Batesville died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at a Batesville hospital. He was born February 2, 1965 at Batesville, Arkansas the son of Betty Sue Thompson. He was a self employed private investigator, an Executive Protector and a NRA firearms instructor. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kari Chase Thompson and grandparents, Ransom and Faye Thompson. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Kinion Thompson of the home; sons, Donavon Thompson of Conway and Cameron Thompson of Batesville; mother, Betty Sue Thompson of Batesville; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Maxine Killian of Batesville; brother and sister in laws, Stephen and Lana Wyatt of Rosie and Gary and Jamie Hoyt of Jonesboro; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Orlando Neeley officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Donavon Thompson, Cameron Thompson, Mike Mitchell, Matt Mitchell, Bobby Keller and Julias Pueblo. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ron Bates, Stephen Wyatt, Gary Hoyt, Sam Halfacre, Jonathon Hunter, Justin Hunter, Dalton Wells, and Korbyn Hoyt.
