Barbara Sue Campbell

Barbara Sue Campbell, 71 of Portia died Friday, April 1, 2016 at a Walnut Ridge hospital. She was born December 12, 1944 in Salado, Arkansas to Ira and Mattie Campbell. She had a big heart and never met a stranger. She loved to fish, dance and enjoy life. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; a sister and a brother. Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Campbell of Portia; sister and brother in-law, Mana and Larry Meeks of Pocahontas; brothers, Troy Campbell of Imboden and Jim Campbell of Wisconsin; brother and sister in- law, James and Pam Campbell of Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will begin on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Portia Missionary Baptist Church in Portia. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Her body will be laid to rest in the Maple Springs Cemetery at Rosie with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Young, Terry Young, Mike Young, Keath Young, David Young and James Young. Honorary pallbearers are the Residents and Staff of the Haynes House in Portia.
