Norman David Coles, 32 of Batesville died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at a Batesville hospital. He was born January 20, 1984 at Batesville, Arkansas. He was the son of Troy Dewayne Coles and Amanda Sue Johnson Garcia. He was a logger, a journeyman boilermaker and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Troy Coles; grandmother, Donna Johnson; stepbrother Brian Garcia and niece Faith Coles. Survivors include son, Bobby Coles of Batesville; daughters, Chloie Coles and Lillie Coles of Batesville; father and step-mother Dewayne and Treacie Coles of Batesville; mother and stepfather, Amanda and Abe Garcia of Batesville; brothers, Robert Coles and Sam Coles of Batesville and Fred Coles of Jonesboro; sisters, Charity Tharp of Newark and Rebecca Engle of Batesville; step-brother, Rick Garcia of Batesville; grandparents, Levada Coles of Batesville and Robert and Marie Johnson of Batesville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Peaceful Harbor Pentecostal Church in Batesville with Bro. Freddy Tims and Rev. Bob Majors officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee’s Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Coles, Fred Coles, Sam Coles, Jacob Brown, James Thomas and Anthony Coles.
