Virgie "Virginia" Staggs

Virgie “Virginia” Staggs, 83 of Batesville died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born December 14, 1932 at Melbourne, Arkansas to Luther Preston and Lillie Roretta (Tharp) Kidwell. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, E.J. Biggers and Lonnie Staggs and grandsons, Tony Biggers and Matthew Morford. Survivors include daughters, Linda Walls of Batesville and Tina Morford of Newton, Kansas; brother, Raymond Kidwell of Granite City, Illinois; sister, Bertie Whiteside of Batesville; grandchildren, Chance Walls, Joshua Morford, Matt Morford and Meghan Landwehr; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Gary Brock and David Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery located near Cushman with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
