Zeb Goforth, 88 of Batesville died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at a Batesville nursing home. He was born December 25, 1927 at Batesville, Arkansas to Elver and Maggie Roberts Goforth. He was a retired factory worker; a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ritchie Goforth and Daryle Goforth and brothers, Billy Goforth, Jim Goforth and Lanty Goforth. Survivors include his wife, Deltha Goforth; sons, Roger Goforth of Fort Worth, Texas and Tom Goforth of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter, Terry Fengel of Cave City; 11 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Dwayne Goforth officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion cemetery located at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Ritchie Goforth II, Scott Goforth, Chad Goforth, J.D. Carlson, Derrick Raby and Anthony Reed.
