Donald Roscoe Brackett

Donald Roscoe Brackett went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 6, 2016 at his home. He was born March 30, 1946 to Roscoe “Slick” and Freda Brackett. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Randy R. Brackett; brother, Gary Brackett; sister Glenda Bailey; two nephews and one niece. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Lenora Gilbert Brackett; son, Richard Don Brackett and fiancé, Melissa Medler of Pleasant Plains; grandsons, Shannon Fennel and wife Megan of Floral, Devin Waite and Daniel Fennell both of Pleasant Plains; granddaughter, Hope Fennel; great grandson, Sawyer Fennel of Floral; brother, Larry Brackett of Mountain View; sister Carolyn Slater of Newark; sister-in-law, June Brackett of Concord; aunt, Gladys Kelly of Conway and a host of nieces, nephews and close family and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Pleasant Plains with Bro Reagan Shearer officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Gilbert, Jeffery Gilbert, Joey Cowell, John Crabtree, Wesley Cowell and Frankie Cowell.
