Faye E. James, 89 of Alexander died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home. She was born May 18, 1926 at Charlotte, Arkansas to Allison and Una Churchill Weaver. She was a homemaker and a member of the Avilla Baptist Church in Alexander. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norman C. James and brothers, Judd Weaver, James Weaver, Marcus Weaver, Joe Weaver, Burl Weaver and Taylor Weaver. Survivors include son, Norman Keith James and wife Pam of Alexander; sisters, Ruth Wood and Willie Ray Wood both of Batesville; granddaughters, Crystal Stokes of Alexander and Misty Rankin of Licking, Missouri; great grandson, Jackson Purvis of Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friend. Funeral services will be Friday, May, 13 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the James Cemetery located at the Cedar Grove Community with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Thomas Wood, Bill Wood, Jerry Weaver, Rick Weaver, Dennis Wood and Patrick Stokes.
