Jewell Kerlin Reed , 88 of Concord died Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home. She was born March 18, 1928 at Almond, Arkansas to Noel and Edna Tatum Kerlin. She was retired from the International Shoe Factory in Batesville and was a member of the First Baptist Church at Concord. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Reed Sr.; daughter, Kitty Lynn Reed; brother, Dean Kerlin; sister, Marian Kerlin and grandson, Paul Glenn Reed. Survivors include son, Don Reed and wife Phyllis of Concord; daughters, Ann Martin and husband Larry and Mary Brown and husband Bob all of Concord; brothers, Noel “Bud” Kerlin of Concord and N.F. Kerlin of Locust Grove; sisters, Cleo Tidd of Kentucky and Mary Green of Bald Knob; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Concord Cemetery at Concord with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
