Virginia Mae Bower, 73 of Cave City died Monday, June 6, 2016 at her home. She was born March 23, 1943 in Newton County, Arkansas to Hugh Ronald and Susie (Harris) Champlin. She was retired from GDX Automotive in Batesville and a member of the Cave City Church of God. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Fred Bower Sr. Survivors include three sons, Fred Bower Jr. of Cave City, John Bower of Smithville and Michael Bower of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Regina Delaat of Rock Creek, Ohio; her mother, Susie Champlin of Cave City; three brothers, Harold Champlin of Cleveland, Texas, Bob Champlin and Don Champlin both of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Phyllis Tuttle of Cleveland, Texas; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Allen Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Fred Bower Jr., John Bower, Michael Bower, Aaron Bower, Tristan Bower, Davey Delaat and Dennis Delaat.
