Cora Marietta Watson, 81 of Cave City died Friday, June 10, 2016 at a Little Rock hospital. She was born March 7, 1935 at Waldenburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles Oliver Cannady and Minnie Francis Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cave City Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Oliver Cannady; her stepfather, Andrew Perry and her mother, Minnie Perry; one brother, J.C. Cannady and one sister, Jewell Book. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James W. Watson Sr. of the home; two sons, Robert Watson of Cave City and James Watson Jr.; one daughter, Lynn Cox of Floral; one brother, Art Cannady of Bella Vista; one sister, Lacona Dickey of Springdale; five grandchildren, Megan Huddleston of Pocahontas, Jeremy Ward of Paragould, Bradley Watson of Branson, Missouri, Autumn Dorris of Conway and Kaylan Watson of Cave City; ten great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed and was deeply loved. Graveside services will be Monday, June 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery located in Floral with Dean Fugett officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
