Quinta Lockhart Cruthis, 71 of Cave City died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Cave City. She was born January 27, 1945 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Quinton and Jewel Reeves Lockhart. She was a retired Speech Pathologist having worked for Cave City Schools; was Director of Rehabilitation for 10 years at Batesville Nursing and Rehabilitation and worked part-time for AFMC. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard L. Cruthis; brother, Ray “Buddy” Lockhart; granddaughter, Brooke Ashley Cruthis and step-grandson, Brett Gene Porter. Survivors include son, Clay Cruthis of Cave City; daughter, Carrie Cruthis Porter and husband Craig of Cave City; sisters, Jane Reeves of Benton, Joy Black of Stuttgart and Mary Beth Farrester of Cabot; grandchildren, Lauren Quinta Porter, Alexie Cruthis Edwards and Lloyd-Spencer Cruthis; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rawlings Cemetery located east of Cave City on Lone Wolf Road with Rev. Jackie Marshall officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Pallbearers will be Clay Cruthis, Craig Porter, Jimmy Gill, Richard gill, Stormy Gill and Kevin Mayes. Honorary pallbearers are Lloyd-Spencer Cruthis, Alexie Cruthis Edwards, Lauren Porter, Robbie Farrester and Edward Lockhart.
