Kenneth J. Saucier

Kenneth J. Saucier, 83 of Batesville left this earth to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 after battling cancer. He was raised with strong Christian beliefs and was of the Pentecostal faith. He devoted his early life to his family and the United States Air Force which he retired from at the age of 37 as a cryptologist in underground communications. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, our best friend and hero. He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Edith Saucier; his wife Ellen Saucier; one step-son William Carroll Thompson; two sons, Hubert Wayne Saucier and Kenneth Neal Saucier. Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Joye Saucier and Jo Ellen Elizabeth Saucier both of Batesville; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery with full military rites. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
