Wanda Burge Wilkerson

Wanda Burge Wilkerson, 80 of Cave City died Saturday, September 3, 2016. She was born February 10, 1936 at Charlotte, Arkansas to Marion and Eula Ball Burge. She was a homemaker; a pastor’s wife and a Foster Grandparent at Cave City School. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Neil Wilkerson; daughter, Sarah Jane Wilkerson; brother, Charles Burge and grandson, Barton Neil Chambliss. Survivors include son, David Wilkerson of Batesville; daughters, Brenda Chambliss of Batesville and Leah Wright of Strawberry; sister, Marion E. Bullington of Harrison; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. the Wilkerson Cemetery located at Grange with Bro Ron Canard officiating. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City with Ben Hightower and Joey Hightower officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Pallbearers will be Bobby Wilkerson, Mike Bullington, Joey Hightower, Ben Hightower, Bart Wilkerson, Corey Wright, Tyler Wright and Mark Burge.
