Dennis Lee Cohrs

Dennis Lee Cohrs, 70 of Batesville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2016. He was born February 3, 1946 at Bradford, Illinois to Albert and Lila Cohrs. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Storefront Trinity Pentecostal Church in Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clayton Cohrs and brother, Scott Cohrs. Survivors include his wife Wreathie Manley Cohrs of the home; children, Denise Shands, Lora Pretty (James) and Tony Cohrs (Amanda) all of Batesville; sister Linda Cohrs; brother, John Henry Cohrs; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Storefront Trinity Pentecostal Church in Batesville with Bro. Ira Brokaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Tony Cohrs, Scott Cohrs, Shelby Moser, Russell Hill, Mac Brokaw, Brandon Brokaw, Brycen Brokaw and Eric Hodges. Honorary pallbearers are Lucas Burnett, James Pretty, Dr. Robert B. Walton and Wesley Jeffery.
