Regina Ruth Coe, 52 of Batesville died Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born June 2, 1964 at Harrison, Arkansas to William and Quindora Coe. She graduated from Cord-Charlotte High School in 1982. She went on to attend college at Arkansas State University and Lyon College. She graduated from the Baptist System of Nursing in Little Rock in 1985 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse for the White River Medical Center then continued her career at St Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock as a weekend charge nurse in their step-down heart unit. After several years she developed fibromyalgia. This illness allowed her to discover the value of deep massage therapy. She then pursued a career as a massage therapist. Her clients said she was one of the best! Regina moved back to Batesville for spiritual and family support when her son joined the Marines and was stationed in Iraq. She loved watching the broadcasted service from Central Baptist Church. Her hobbies included interior decorating, for which she had a great talent, growing flowers and helping others. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Dollie Taylor and Thomas and Cora Coe; sisters, Elizabeth Coe Monroe and infant, Deborah Renee Coe. Survivors include son, Christopher Kegan Barnett and wife Amanda and grandchildren, Madison and Wyatt; her parents; brothers, Johathan and Thomas Coe; nieces, Ashley Brown, Heather Mead, Lauren Taylor, Lindsey Coe and a nephew Landon; great nieces Jaylee and Carlee Hubbard and Elaina and Amelia Mead. She also leaves behind many caring cousins, aunts, uncles, close friends and special friend, Bryan Spencer. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until service time.
