R.C Goodwin

R.C. Goodwin, 77 of Batesville, died Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was born July 25, 1939 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Ozro Mark and Mary Effie Lingo Goodwin. He was retired from the United States Postal Service in Rockford, Illinois. He was the most wonderful husband, dad and pawpaw to have ever lived. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sanford Goodwin and sisters, Barbara Penn and Nina Casper. Survivors include his wife Donna Goodwin of the home; sons, Dave Goodwin of Madison, Wisconsin, Geoff Goodwin of Chicago, Illinois, Timothy Goodwin of Rockford, Illinois and Jerry Goodwin of Clarion, Iowa; step-daughters, Sandra Buenzle and Jessica Buenzle both of Batesville; brothers, Jerry Goodwin of Lynn and Larry Goodwin of Calamine; sisters, Joyce Goodman of Somers, New York, Aleta Miller of Doniphan, Missouri and Jane Ward of Jensen Beach, Florida; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held, Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 2:30 to 4:30 at Momma G's Country Kitchen. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
