Barbara J. Wilbanks

Barbara J. Wilbanks, 85 of Batesville died Friday, November 11, 2016. She was born June 4, 1931 at Batesville, Arkansas to Lonnie and Opal (Ladd) Trent. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John W. Wilbanks; one infant son and one infant daughter. Survivors include one son, John R. Wilbanks of Batesville; one daughter, Dianne Wilbanks Womack of Batesville; two grandchildren, John R. Thomas and wife Suzanne of Ward and Trenton G. Thomas of Little Rock; two great grandchildren, John Maxwell Thomas and Emma Claire Thomas both of Ward; a nephew, Timothy West and wife Najat of Fair Haven, Massachusetts; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. No visitation is planned. Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Greg Neaville.
