Kathleen Pickens Davis age 90 of Hermitage, Missouri died Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was born April 8, 1926 at Los Angeles, California to Wayne and Ruth Shipman Pickens. She was a retired Registered Nurse and of the Pentecostal faith. She was a devoted nurse, loved her family but most of all loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray E. Davis; a son, Donnie Davis; a step-son, Billy Davis; a brother, Harry Pickens; a sister, Charlotte Pickens and two sons-in-law, Lonny Bumpous and Keith Hurst. Survivors include two sons, David Young (Lavelle) of Bull Shoals and Ralph Young (Teresa) of San Diego, California; five daughters, Peggy Echols (Randy) of Leslie, Paula Hightower (Lynn) of Newark, Mary Ellen Brewer (Charles) of Southside, Judy Bumpous of Bradford and Joyce Tucker (Dwight) of Weaubleau, Missouri; one step-son, Ronnie Davis (Kathy) of Conway; two sisters, Margaret Nelle Bragg of Chicago, Illinois and Mary Alice Wood of Dallas, Texas; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Combs Cemetery at Melbourne, Arkansas with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
