Ed Bagwell, 70 of Poughkeepsie died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his home. He was born March 28, 1946 at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Arthur and Janie Gray Bagwell. He was a retired supervisor for GDX Automotive in Batesville and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ted Bagwell; three brothers, Cecil Bagwell, Mack Bagwell and Daniel Bagwell and one sister, Louetta Bagwell. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Parker Bagwell of the home; three sons, Charles Bagwell of Poughkeepsie, Randall Bagwell of Strawberry and Dustin Bagwell of Calamine; four brothers, Johnny Bagwell of Strawberry, Junior Bagwell of Illinois, Roger Bagwell of Cave City and Dean Bagwell of Jonesboro; one sister, Dorothy King of Jonesboro; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxville Cemetery located north of Cave City with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Caleb Bagwell, Bradon Bagwell, Tate Bagwell, Brendan Bagwell, Tyler Bagwell and Issac Bagwell. Honorary pallbearers are Chase Bagwell and Kason Bagwell.
