Aubrey Dale Finster

Aubrey Dale Finster, 70 of La Place, Louisiana (formerly of Batesville) died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at his home. He was born June 28, 1946 at Batesville, Arkansas the son of Roy Finster and Elsie Blevins. He was a retired industrial electrician; a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the La Place American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wilburn Finster, Don Herbert Finster and Tasker Von Finster. Survivors include his wife Cindy Fuller Finster of the home; son, Brandon Finster of Washington; daughter, Carla Finster; stepsons, Justin Tomberlain of Little Rock and Robert Tompkins of Missouri; brother, Wayne Finster of Tacoma, Washington; sister, Faye Brown of Batesville; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave Creek Cemetery located north of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ernest Tate, Darrell Tate, Galen Melton, Justin Tomberlain and Glen Smart. Honorary pallbearers are Thurman Lee, Delbert Barnett and Harry Dow.
