Wandon Wilson, 90 of Calamine died Tuesday, December 27, 2016. He was born March 29, 1926 at Charlotte, Arkansas to James Albert and Nannie Josephine (Clem) Wilson. He was a retired welder for International Harvester in East Moline, Illinois and a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Nelsonville. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James L. Wilson and Shelby Gene Wilson and sisters, Juanita Hoggard and Vera Mae Hoggard. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Jackie Jones Wilson; son, Tony Jones of Searcy; daughters, Pamela Wilson and Angela Russell both of Calamine; brothers, Bob Wilson and Denver Wilson both of Calamine; sisters, Donna LeMaster and Jan Mccollum both of Cave City and Lanell Hoggard of Kansas; grandchildren, Kristina Jones Halfacre, Jacquelyne Jones, Nicholas Burtenshaw, Joshua Burtenshaw and Eric Burtenshaw; several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church at Nelsonville with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Jeff Huskey, Zack Baxter, Allen Jones, Gary Farmer and Randall Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Wilson, Denver Wilson, Bob Mccollum, Jim LeMaster, W.G. “Junior” Jones, Bart Hoggard, Leon Hoggard and L.D. Hoggard.
