Maude Auten Nash, 83 of Cave City died Friday, January 20, 2017. She was born February 2, 1933 at Newport, Arkansas to James Ollie and Beulah Mae (Able) Auten. She was a retired LPN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Nash; brothers, Frank Auten, George Henry Auten and James Ollie Auten Jr. and sister, Betty Milligan. Survivors include sons, Jammie Nash Sr. of Strawberry and Bobby Nash of Hawaii; daughter, Lena Hunter of Cave City; brother, Curtis Auten of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Ollie Evans of Cave City; grandchildren, Joe Nash, Jennifer Martin, Maranda Ring, Jerry Nash, Jammie Nash Jr. and Mandy Brokaw; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with Rev. Allen Brown officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jammie Nash Sr., Jammie Nash Jr., Lantz Tucker, Jeff Poff, Maranda Ring and Jerry Nash. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Ring and Nathan Nash, Caleb Brokaw and Austin Brokaw.
