Susie Harris

Susie Harris, 93 of Strawberry died Friday January 27, 2017. She was born July 25, 1923 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Tim and Lillie Osburn Watson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noel Austin Harris Sr.; son, Noel Austin Harris Jr. and daughter, Loretta Harris Jarrett. Survivors include sisters, Delois Foster and husband Oneal of Hemet, California and Devonia Haines of Jonesboro; niece, Phyllis Harris of Strawberry; daughter-in-law, Donna C. Harris; grandchildren, Vonda Jarrett Spencer, Lisa Harris McNeely and Vance Jarrett; great grandchildren, Daniel Wallis, Blevan Jarrett, Austin McNeely and Peyton McNeely; great great grandchildren, Eli Wallis, Ashlynn Shea and Gavin Parker; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church at Saffell with Bro. Matt Donnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Vance Jarrett, Daniel Wallis, Blevan Jarrett, Shane Watts, Austin McNeely and Peyton McNeely. Honorary pallbearers are Robert McNeely and Greg Howard.
