Joyce L. Bailey

Joyce L. Bailey, 72 of Evening Shade died Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born May 8, 1944 at Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to Marvin and Mae Holland. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Bailey; brother, Raymond Holland and granddaughters, Cynthia Bailey and Valerie Bailey. Survivors include sons, Bobby Bailey, Curtis Bailey and Brian Bailey all of Evening shade, Kevin Bailey of Cave City; stepson, Jim Parks of West Virginia; step daughter, Ann Rutledge of Indiana; brother, J.C. Holland of Smithville; sister, Hazel Mae Bearden of Batesville; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Tommie Boles officiating. Burial will follow in the Evening Shade Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Jacob Bailey, D.J. Bailey, Jeff Hightower, Bruce Hightower, Donnie Hightower and James Parks. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Corbitt, William Hatton, Jeremy Parker and Michael Bailey.
