Reva Shands, 88 of Evening Shade died Tuesday, February 14, 2017. She was born November 29, 1928 at Swifton, Arkansas to Thurlow and Ada (Anderson) Hudgens. She enjoyed painting, writing poetry and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church at Evening Shade. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Nathan Shands and a daughter, Lou Alice Shands. Survivors include sons, Everett Shands (Diane) and Jim Shands (Debbie) both of Evening Shade; daughters, Sheila Dickerson (Eddie) of Evening Shade and Nathine Rhodes (Larry) of Kentucky; grandchildren, Daniel Dickerson, Nathan Rhodes, John Shands, Joshua Shands, Ashley Shands, Blake Shands, John Henry Runsick and Kohn Runsick; great grandchildren, Dustin Davis, Dylan Dickerson, Sydney Rhodes, Alli Shands, Hannah Shands, Rayleigh Shands, Nathan Shands, Gracie Shands, Keegan Colvin, Laila Colvin, Toby Runsick and Eva Runsick; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Evening Shade with Rev. Jennifer Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dickerson, Nathan Rhodes, John Shands, Joshua Shands, Blake Shands, John Henry Runsick and Kohn Runsick.
