Danny Matthew "Matt" Harmon

Danny Matthew “Matt” Harmon, 39 of Floral died Thursday, February 9, 2017. He was born July 22, 1977 at Searcy, Arkansas to Robert Dale and Brenda Kaye (Ferguson) Harmon. He was a brick layer and a member of the Floral Baptist Church. Matt enjoyed being outdoors. His passion was sitting on a pond bank fishing. Those who met Matt always felt welcome from his infectious laugh. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Kaye Harmon and his grandparents, Kenneth and Voniedell Ferguson and Matt and Grace Harmon. Survivors include his father Robert Dale Harmon of Floral; daughter, Kilie Jo Harmon Middleton of Batesville; brother, Robert Jason Harmon of Hernando, Mississippi; sister, Stefanie Kirk of Floral; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Floral Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery located near Floral with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Randy Palmer, Ray Adcock, Steve Nichols, Bryan Dunegan, Jeremy Grammer and Clint McCance.
