Anita F. Gardner

Anita F. Gardner, 73 of Drasco died Friday, February 24, 2017. She was born August 20, 1943 at Wolf Bayou, Arkansas to Burley and Jessie Alma (Ramsey) Sutherland. She had worked for General Motors in Kokomo, Indiana and at the post office in Bloomingdale, Indiana. She was a member of the Banner Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Benny Joe Sutherland. Survivors include her husband, James Gardner of the home; a son, Thomas J. Davis of Searcy; a daughter, ShawnNita Fairbarin of Queensland, Australia; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery located at Drasco with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Gary York, Artie Cousins, Larry Wells, Jamie Robbins, Clark Welch and Russell Martin.
