James G. “Jimmy” Little, 90 of Evening Shade died March 1, 2017 at Batesville. He was born November 13, 1926 at Savannah, Georgia, to Glen and Naomia (Duckworth) Little. He served in World War II in the Philippines and was a truck driver and furniture maker. He was a member of the Evening Shade Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepdad, E.C. Valentine and a granddaughter, Tamra (Binder) Coley. Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee (Thomas) Little; son, Bill Little of Evening Shade; daughters, Cynthia Binder (Dwayne) of Ash Flat and Angela King (Jason) of Southside; grandchildren, James Little (Hailey), Justin Little, Billy Joe Arie (Veronica), Jessica King, Jill Norris (Chris), Lyra Huffine (Steven), Kirsten King; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Evening Shade Methodist Church in Evening Shade with Bro. Larry Morris officiating. Visitation will be from 12p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery at Evening Shade. Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Pallbearers will be Justin Little, James Little, Billy Joe Arie, Malcom Thomas, Chris Norris, Steven Huffine.
