Sammy Ray Leonard

Sammy Ray Leonard, 74 of Salado died Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born July 2, 1942 at Salado, Arkansas to Ralph and Dishie (Varnell) Leonard. He was retired manager of the North Arkansas Farm Supply in Heber Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Wanda Leonard. Survivors include brothers, Billy Leonard (Freda) of Sulphur Rock, James Leonard of Batesville and Rusty Leonard (Martha) of Lafayette, Tennessee; sisters, Melba James of Bentonville, Sue Pearce (Malcolm) of Hot Springs and Nancy Rutledge (Keith) of Maumelle; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
