Mary Edith Ruminer

Mary Edith Ruminer, 93 of Batesville died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born November 26, 1923 at Mount Pleasant, Arkansas to Walter and Mollie Hall. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Ruminer; daughter, Vonda Mae Johnston; brothers Nolan Hall, Roland Hall, Vernon Hall and Billy Hall and sisters, Edna Mae Hall and Freda Hall. Survivors include son, Ronnie Ruminer of Batesville; daughters, Shay King of Batesville and Ina Provence of Cave City; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan and Bro. Bobby Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Cole Taylor, Brooks Benton, Marcus Keller, Ransom Pogue, Junior Hall and Darren Webster.
