Lou Ann McLane, 82 of Smithville died Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Cave City Nursing Home. She was born May 19, 1934 at Batesville, Arkansas to Frank and Millie Tripp Keller. She was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Richard Keller, Charles Keller and Johnny Keller. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Hubert McLane of the home; two sons, Terry McLane of Smithville and Phil McLane of Middleburg, Florida; one daughter, Venita Maddux of Gladstone, Missouri; one brother, James Keller of Pleasant Plains; three sisters, Nonnie Martin of Locust Grove, Viola Moody of Greers Ferry and Mary Ellen Peabody of Greenwood, Maine; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery located near Gainesboro. Visitation will be Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rod Keller, James Lindsey, Doug Evans, David Keller, Jerry Lindsey, Chad Lindsey, Dennis Kellem, James Keller and Lee Black.
