Rev. Robert H. Peacock

Rev. Robert H. Peacock, 83 of Batesville died Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was born July 3, 1933 at Star City, Arkansas to Robert P. and Emma (Meeks) Peacock. He was a retired minister and previously served as pastor at Batesville First Assembly of God for 13 years. He was also a high school and college teacher for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Batesville First Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie Jean (Peacock) McGee. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ruth (Beaver) Peacock of the home; sons, Steve Peacock (Janet) of Ft. Worth, Texas and Philip Peacock (Laurie) of Bluemont, Virginia; daughters, Cheryl Bernard (Brian) of Petal, Mississippi and Patti Wilkes (Darren) of Batesville; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Batesville First Assembly of God Church in Batesville with Rev. Glenn Beaver and Rev. Larry Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located at Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
