Winnie Lee Sisk

Winnie Lee Sisk, 95 of Batesville died Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was born January 23, 1922 at Cushman, Arkansas to Loy D. and Sylvia Jane (Hon) Cowden. She was a homemaker and a member of Batesville First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Virgil Sisk; daughter, Glenna Jane Winchester; brothers, Dorr Cowden, Junior Cowden, Dean Cowden and Donald Cowden and sister, Evelyn Eason. Survivors include daughter, Brenda Kay Shipman of Batesville; sister, Ermal Stice of Batesville; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Batesville First Assembly of God in Batesville with Rev. Jeff Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery at Batesville with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Pallbearers will be Glennon Simmons, Russell Simmons, D.J. McBride, Ronnie Shipman, Tommy Wright and Bryan McBride. Honorary pallbearers are Buford Hatfield, Mark Hatfield, Roy Eason and members of the Ruddell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
