Hanford McClure, 93 of Batesville died Saturday, June 3, 2017. He was born September 21, 1923 at Cave Creek, Arkansas to William Claud and Alma Weaver McClure. He was a restaurant cook having worked for Kelly Restaurants in Newport and Paragould and Kelly Wyatt’s Restaurant in Batesville. He was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Batesville. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Junior McClure and Jack McClure; sisters, Ozella Pruett and Minnie Osborn. Survivors include sister, Jonnie K. Harris of Chatanooga, Tennessee; nephews, Tommy Osborn and Jerry Pruett; nieces, Brenda Osborn, Jackie Pruett, Cynthia Harris, Barbara McClure, Linda McClure and Jan McClure and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville with Tony Moser officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
