Carroll V. Willmuth, 84 of Strawberry died Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was born May 27, 1933 at Strawberry, Arkansas to Hal and Amy (Mason) Willmuth. He retired from the Postal Service as a rural letter carrier in 1990 and also was a retired farmer, which he really loved. He served in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer. He was a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Association, Farm Bureau, the U.S. Veterans association and the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Hal Willmuth and a sister, Sydney Willmuth Kealer. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Oletha (Thacker) Willmuth; daughter, Carol Wooldridge (Randy) of Carmel, Indiana; grandchildren, Amanda Taegtmeyer (Neal) of Sikeston, Missouri; Drew Willmuth (Atoshia) of Cushman; Chris Wooldridge (Emily) of Arcadia, Indiana, Sarah Wooldridge of Carmel, Indiana, Amy Burrow (Rex) of Strawberry; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Harold Willmuth (Marge) of Walnut Ridge and daughter-in-law, Kaye Willmuth of Cherokee Village and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery at Strawberry. Visitation will be Friday, June 16, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Carlton Wann and Ralph Wann. Pallbearers are Mike Willmuth, Jim Williams, Ricky Roberson, Wendell Adams, Jerry Matheny, Eddie Witt, Wendell Saffell and Ronald Saffell.
