Bobby Ray O'Brien

Bobby Ray O’Brien, 76 of Smithville passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017. He was born September 11, 1940 at Trumann, Arkansas to Ermol and Jenny (Fike) O’Brien. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son; two grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Patricia O’Brien; son, Mark O’Brien; daughters, Delita Hargo, Tina Smith and Patty Taylor; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three adopted great grandchildren, Cody, Vanessa and Julia O’Brien; sisters, Kay Gregory, Sue Bixler and Betty Tims; brothers, E.C. O’Brien and Gene O’Brien; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Chad O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in the Spotts Cemetery located at Poughkeepsie. Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
