Doris L. Hooten, 57 of Batesville died Tuesday, June 20, 2017. She was born July 28, 1959 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Gene L. and Louella (Price) King. She was a member of the Harrison Street Church of Christ in Batesville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Barnett. Survivors include her husband, Michael Hooten of the home; sons, Allen Glass and wife Nikki of Manila and Joseph Hooten of Batesville; brother, Rocky King of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sister, Elaine Glaser of Lake Villa, Illinois; grandson, Stoker Glass; father and mother-in-law, Billy and Peggy Hooten of Walnut Ridge; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Steve Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Batesville. Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joey Hill, Benson Hardaway, Don Bellcock, Adam Bellcock, Larry Sneed and Cliff Johann. Honorary pallbearers are David Dame and Dr. Muhammad Khan.
