Billy Sunday Wilkerson

Billy Sunday Wilkerson, 84 of Cave City died Tuesday, July 11, 2017. He was born, September 1, 1932 at Grange, Arkansas to John Robert ant Ophelia Powell Wilkerson. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a retired Missionary Baptist Minister and worked 25 years at the University of Arkansas Experiment Station at Bethesda. He was a member of the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church at Grange. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Billy Glenn Wilkerson; nine brothers, Edgar, Morrison, Stanley, Taylor, Spurgeon, Woodrow, Barton, J.R. and Neil Wilkerson and six sisters, Effie Taylor, Maude Sullivan, Susie Deering, Elsie Montgomery, Ann Adams and Bobbie Kelley. Survivors include his wife, Glenna Wilkerson of Cave City; son, Bobby Wilkerson of Cave City; daughter, Susan Wilkerson of Mississippi; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkerson Cemetery located at Grange with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sam Wilkerson, David Wilkerson, Scott Wright, Barton Wilkerson, Matthew Wilkerson and Josh McAnally. Honorary pallbearer is Joey Wilkerson.
