Mary Kate Hazelwood Niswonger Barnes

Mary Kate Hazelwood Niswonger Barnes 77 of Paragould died Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at a Paragould hospital. She was born December 21, 1939 at Dyersburg, Tennessee to Everett and Margarette Hazelwood. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Teri Niswonger and a sister Bonnie Sue Owens. Survivors include sons, Robert Niswonger of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Niswonger of Brookland, Michael Niswonger of West Memphis and Jeffery Niswonger of Poughkeepsie; daughters, Suzanne Wilcoxson of Bolivar, Missouri, Sharon Adams of Paragould and Sheri Denton of Beech Grove; brother, James Preston Hazelwood of Mexico, Missouri; sister, Lisa Ann Griffith of Saint Amant, Lousiana; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Marvin Cemetery at Smithville with Bro. Sammy Bennett officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. No visitation is planned. Pallbearers will be James Niswonger, Michael Niswonger, Jeffery Niswonger, Pete Wilcoxson, Brian Bendle and Christopher Niswonger.
