Millie Canard

Millie Canard, 84 of Huff died Wednesday, August 2, 2017. She was born April 23, 1933 at Huff, Arkansas to Bert and Edith Fryman. She was a homemaker and worked many years at Westport Casuals in Batesville. She was a member of the Swaim’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred Canard. Survivors include sons, Michael Canard and wife Sheila of Ida and Terry Canard and wife Janet of Huff; daughter, Vickie Wilkes and husband Donald of Batesville; brother, Larry Fryman of Huff; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Swaim’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at Huff with Bro. Joe Newnum officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Andrew Armstrong, Stephen Canard, Anthony Canard, Christian Dawkins, Megan Armstrong, Jeremy Canard and Randy Canard. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
