Howard K. Garrison

Howard K. Garrison, 83 of Batesville died Friday, August 18, 2017. He was born March 4, 1934 at Batesville, Arkansas to Pete and Jessie (Whaley) Garrison. He was former owner of Garrison Manor Apartments in Batesville. He was a member of the Mt Zion Baptist Church at Southside. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie Mae Garrison; brothers, Charles J. Garrison and Gene Garrison and sister, Nadine Garrison. Survivors include son, Keith Garrison of Tampa, Florida; daughters, Trish Walker of Little Rock and Vicki Anderson of Bryant; brother, Don Garrison of Batesville; grandchildren, Whitney, Stephanie, Jordan, Stacey and Buddy; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery near Bethesda. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
