Lowanda Duncan Medlock

Lowanda Duncan Medlock, 84 of Poughkeepsie died Wednesday, August 30, 2017. She was born March 6, 1933 at Sitka, Arkansas to Ernest Andrew and Adalee (Goodson) Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Hugh Medlock and brother, Leon Duncan. Survivors include sons, Bernis Medlock (Carla) of Batesville and Robin Medlock (Jane) of McHue; brothers, Jim Duncan (Roberta) of Lytle, Texas and Jerry Duncan (Debbie) of Conway; grandchildren, Tiffany Doherty of Camden, Jerry L. Medlock of Palestine and Whitney Hooper of Batesville; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Jerry L. Medlock officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery at Poughkeepsie. Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ken Medlock, Tyler Hooper, Harrison Riddle, Darrell Parsley, Braden Ables and Dean Parsley. Honorary pallbearers are Nurses and Staff at Mountain Meadows Health and Rehabilitation.
