Floe M. McDougal, 85 of Pleasant Plains died Thursday, September7, 2017 at her home. She was born October 8, 1931 at Oga, Arkansas near Fifty- Six to Frank and Clydie (Stevens) Smith. She was a wife, mother and worked as a CNA for 30 years at the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Batesville. She was a member of the Floral Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Daniel McDougal; son Daniel Steven McDougal; brother, Kenneth David Smith; sisters, Imogene McDougal, Ilene Glenn, Betty Smith and Rosemary Floyd and grandson, John McDougal. Survivors include son, Joseph McDougal of Southside; daughters, Teresa Cooper of Concord, Jennie Watkins of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Judy Sandford of Southside and Tabitha Lucy of Batesville; sister, Frankie Joyce Smith of Pleasant Plains; 7 grandchildren;12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, September 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Floral Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Fowler and Eddie Dale Meharg officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Marty Cooper, Jody McDougal, Wesley Watkins, Anthony Lucy, Cory McDougal and Miles Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Marlin Cooper, Blake Watkins, Luther Sandford, Lynn Fryman and Dorne Smith.
