Marilyn Joyce Fields, 76 of Southside died Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her home. She was born November 6, 1940 at Wynne, Arkansas to Guy Douglas and Nellie (Marlar) Kimbrough. She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Assembly of Jesus Christ at Magness. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Marie Sibley, Christene Fleetwood, Reba Cotton and Joann Jones. Survivors include her husband, Robert K. Fields of the home; four daughters, Alesia Qualls of Batesville, Tresia Elumbaugh of Southside, Melessa Thomas of Cord and Sonya Fields of Locust Grove; five brothers, Buddy Douglas, Richard Douglas, Steve Douglas, Roger Douglas and Hoss Douglas all of Wynne; three sisters, Connie Conner of Wynne, Nancy Earls of Wiener and Diann Martin of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, September 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Gaylon England officiating. Burial will follow in the Kyler Cemetery located at Southside with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville. Visitation will be Monday September 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jonathon Qualls, Heath Spooner, James Mansfield, Dylon Barnett and Brandon Pratt. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Williams, Justin Mansfield, Aaron Barnett, Buddy Douglas, Richard Douglas, Steve Douglas, Roger Douglas and Hoss Douglas.
