Johnny Lane Taylor, 22 of Cave City died Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was born January 18, 1995, the son of Jason Earl Holt and Michelle Taylor Dew. He was a 2013 graduate of Cave City High School, employed by Bad Boy Mowers in Batesville and of the Baptist faith. He was full of life and loved football, basketball, his pets, friends, family and his job. He will be forever greatly missed. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Howard Reynolds; great grandparents, Arnold and Pauline Huskey, Buna Walling Taylor, Arson Taylor and Campbell and Pauline Wilkerson; aunt, Jennifer Harris and great uncle, Johnny Taylor. Survivors include his parents, Justin and Michelle Dew of Cave City, Jason Holt of Batesville, and Jon Johnson of Newark; sister, Avery Dew of Cave City; brothers, Zach Holt and Tyson Holt of Pleasant Plains; grandparents, Jerry and Debbie Taylor, Barbara Reynolds and Carl and Cathey Johnson all of Cave City, Danny and Beverly Kuhlmann of Waldron and Steve and Katherine Dew of Higden; great grandmother, Betty Bufford; aunts and uncles, Aaron and Mindy Crafton of Cave City, Michael and Jamie Holt of Batesville, Bobby and Angie Hooker of Cave City, Sam and Maria Horn of Sidney, Sean and Jessica Martin of Cushman and Claudette Jones of Newark; cousins, Leah and Ryan Crafton and a host of other cousins, friends and relatives. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Zach Holt, Tyson Holt, Jeremiah Turner, Alec Piazza, Robbie Parks and Justin Tackett. Honorary pallbearers are Employees of Bad Boy Mowers.
